I loved the fact that it was centrally located on the island. If you have plans to visit Santorini i would highly suggest you stay here as your base camp and visit the islands from this location. No need to stay in oia or Fira

Perivolos has the best beach I've seen in Santorini. It is sandy and doesn't have any big stones on the entrance to the water. It gets very deep in the water very fast. There are many lovely bars and restaurants, and it is easy to reach either by car or by bus from Fira. Perivolos is a good place if you want to be close to the...
Perivolos is a good place if you want to be close to the beach and in a quiet area. But there are not many shops around that you can walk to quickly, so a car is needed to get to bigger supermarkets and bakeries. It's possible to take the bus to Fira but can be very crowded. You can book taxis to get around but they are not cheap, 35-40 euros one way to Fira.

Other than the beach which we did not like and the restaurants right out the back of the hotel, there was nothing you can walk to. We had to take car service wherever we wanted to go. We spent a lot of money on cars.

Breakfast was served to our rooms, fresh and delicious with a smile :) Maria and her husband are such great hosts. So kind and lovely. They made us feel at home. Clean rooms, with all the facilities, wifi, air on, etc. There is also free parking. The black beach of Perivolos is just outside the hotel. Good restaurants in the area too. I will recommend my friends to go there. We loved it.
